1. These chainrings are a PAIN to set up on a 10 speed drivetrain. However, they are no sweat on an 11 speed rig. I actually run an 11 speed front derailleur on my 10 speed TT set up and they shift great.
2. Due to the constant change in chain tension, there is always a risk of dropping the chain if you are cross chaining in the big ring. But, you shouldn’t be doing that anyways.
