It’s no secret that most endurance athletes either hate doing strength work, or don’t want to give up time they could be swimming, biking, or running to lift weights. But the truth is, if you are weak, you are far less durable and more prone to those injuries that either put you on the bench, or kill the quality of your training for a week or two. Neither of which you want.
So to see if you could benefit from trading junk miles for strength work, follow along with this short 25 minute workout. It doesn’t require any equipment besides a broomstick or PVC pipe, which still isn’t totally necessary.
